Today was one of the prettiest fall days I’ve ever experienced.  Sunny and 60 degrees.  Perfect.  The trees are getting more colorful each day, which makes me wonder why I thought I had to go to Vermont a couple of years ago to see autumn leaves.  Oh well…Vermont did have more trees, and I’m glad I made the trip – even though we guessed the wrong weekend for the peak colors.

Kansas City is a beautiful city, with so much character because of the variety of neighborhoods.  You can find almost anything here (except an ocean of course).  I always loved living here and saying that I was from here, when I lived in other parts of the U.S.  Now that I have moved back here, I am frequently amazed at this multi-faceted city gem that is filled with many hidden jewels to discover.  One of my favorite things is that it has a small-town feel, but with many benefits of a big city.

I posted some pictures of a few gorgeous fall trees.  I tried to capture the sun shining through the leaves, but seeing them in person is obviously better.

If you have pictures to share of where you live, I would love to see them.  If you don’t how to upload them to this site, send them to me in an email and I will post them.
