I am finding it difficult to write when I am feeling so sad.   As I pondered this fact, I realized that I would like to always be one of those people who bring “sunshine” into the world.   I also want to be surrounded by positive and encouraging people.

However, it’s just not realistic for anyone to be positive all of the time – unless they have overly-developed denial skills.

I can always find something to be grateful about, if I just look for it.   Often, gratefulness comes so naturally – but other times it takes a lot of effort.

I just returned from a wonderful trip to Vancouver, Canada.  While I was there, I was able to escape from reality.  I guess that’s why vacations are so great.

I must admit that I am thankful that I was able to have fun and a brief break, because all of the concerns about my sister-in-law still weigh heavily on me, now that I am home.
