Here we are – in a New Year.  I survived another year, and have another chance to improve upon last year.

Last night all of my brothers and sisters had a sleep over for New Year’s Eve (at my brother’s house who hosted the Christmas eve extravaganza).  It was kind of fun to do as adults.  We even all stayed awake until midnight!

I woke up feeling very grateful for my family, and the fact that we still make an effort to have good relationships.  That’s not to say that we don’t have some issues, but, for the most part we set those aside, or if needed, resolve them.

Happy 2013 to all!

  • Very interesting details you have observed. “History is a cyclic poem written by Time upon the memories of man.” by Percy Bysshe Shelley.

  • I bet it’s nice to come home to a quiet place. I know it has been for me. Brother- and sister-in-law spent three days. I think fish only lasts for two. Good rule of thumb.

    • Quiet is good and certainly low stress. I have always liked some “alone” time, growing up in such a large family. Although viewed as an extrovert, I also have a good dose of introvertedness.
